About Emilio
Emilio Arredondo, a native Houstonian, has been playing the violin since the age of 7. He found himself spending lots of time in local violin shops. Fascinated with the craftsmanship, sound, history, and setup. Emilio has always had a passion for pairing the right strings, bow, instrument, or rosin to the player.
In his undergrad, Mr. Arredondo graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. During his last year of college, he got a job opportunity with an amazing team at Johnson String Instrument. After some time, he relocated back to Houston to be the assistant store manager of Lisle violin Shop. The Lisle family/team and Emilio maintain a healthy relationship between the shops and personnel.
Emilio completed his masters degree in 2021, studying with Houston Symphony violinist, Rodica Gonzalez. During the pandemic, his priorities took a turn and he followed his dream of opening his own violin shop. Thus, Fine Instrument Consulting was created. Bringing a friendly, knowledgeable, honest, environment with quality instruments and bows to Houston players.
